~ Trains to Antibes ~

Travelling by rail is our favourite way of getting to Antibes. It’s a safe and civilised way to travel and the best way to see the countryside en route.

Trains from UK to Antibes

With the high-speed rail line to the Channel Tunnel now complete the journey time from London to Paris is now just 2 hours 15 minutes. The second leg of the journey from Paris or Lille to Antibes is a further 6 hours.

If you’re travelling from the UK to the south of France by train the journey is in two easy parts:-

  1. Eurostar from London St Pancras, Ebbsfleet in Kent or Ashford in Kent (limited). Change at Lille or Paris to the high speed TGV network. If you opt to change at Lille there is no need to change stations. If you’d rather change at Paris then you’d arrive at Paris Gare du Nord and cross Paris to the Gare de Lyon station. If you’re taking an overnight sleeper train from Paris you would need to leave from Gare d’Autserlitz.
Journey time from London to Paris is approximately 2 ¼ hours. Allow at least 60 minutes to change stations in Paris.
During the summer months (July, August and September) trains run from London St Pancras direct to Avignon where you can change.
  2. TGV daytime or overnight sleeper to Antibes
